I have been getting my lashes done for a few months now! It just sort of happened all of a sudden one night when I was sitting on my couch being really pissed off and dreading marching up the stairs to go wash off my eye make up. you guys I tallied up the time I spend tediously applying and angrily removing my mascara! It adds up to almost a freaking half hour of my day wasted!!! Lets be honest there is no point for me to even wear it, hey I’m a mom. I go to the gym and sometimes the grocery store and the pretty much it for my social outings haha. So I decided whatever, I’m getting
I am clearly a blonde and I have very fair features I have blonde lashes and brows and at the end of the day when I wash off my make up all my features go down the drain with it!! It was a no brainer for me to get lashes and it has seriously made my life so much simpler! Saves me so much time getting ready in the morning and getting ready for bed!
Please always make sure you are going to a licensed professional and do your homework. SOCIAL MEDIA STALKNG. duh. My favorite pass time! I Highly recommend the girl I go to @Kellylovestolash! She is seriously amazing! She’s located in Draper. She makes them look so natural and I get compliments all the time so that is fun! She is an instructor for the Borbeleta technique. We do the Volume lashes! Not classic lashes. She attaches more than one extension to every single natural lash. Volume lashes are extremely lightweight, allowing the stylist to apply 2-6 extensions per natural lash, or 200-750 extensions per eye! This can not be done with classic lashes, as they are too heavy to apply more then one extension per lash. Volume lashes are very soft, fluffy and the most natural feeling of all eyelash extensions. Ps during your appointment you get to sit on the softest recliner chair and listen to the most perfect playlist. I always fall asleep!
When I was considering getting them I thought of all the reasons that I shouldn’t get them. All the myths of lash extensions if you will. I’ll address each one right now.
Myth #1: I can’t get them wet.
Sure you can! They did tell me not get get them wet within the first 24 hours them you are golden! When they are wet though you should always pat them dry of let them air dry. No rubbing ever.
Myth #2 They will bug my eyes.
I thought the exact same thing! I have really sensitive eyes (thanks Graves Disease!) I frequently have to use steroid drops cause they get irritated so easily. These lashes are seriously so light and fluffy honestly more comfortable than even wearing mascara! They don’t bother my eyes in the slightest! I used to wear false lash strips all the time and they are far more uncomfortable than having these lashes on all the time. Crazy I know!! I pretty much never feel the need to even rub my eyes. It’s fabulous!
Myth#3 They Ruin your natural lashes.
In my personal experience this is not true. I have a strict no touching with my fingers policy! I use a clean mascara wand to brush them and I really try not to mess with them. Thats when you tear out your natural lash is when you start picking! So just don’t mmk?
I have had a great experience and highly recommend them! If you guys think of any other questions for me ask away and I’ll answer to the best of my ability!
